We had a lot of fun tie-dyeing t-shirts at the Sarah Ross House 1-year anniversary BBQ on Tuesday! Residents and neighbours came by our table to dye their own shirts using tansy. We got different shades of yellow and green on the shirts by dipping them in an iron alum and baking soda solution. If you are interested in learning more about natural dyes, stay on the lookout for more workshops with our Colour Me Local program. And watch for Moon Fest 2019 posters going up around the community in the next few weeks!

Special thanks to the Sarah Ross House staff for putting on such a fun community event!
